1) Don't use all 140 characters. If you think about it, when you retweet, automatically inserted in the front of the message is "RT @[name]". So, if you used up 140 characters,
the retweet is now over the limit. One of two things will happen - either people won't retweet your message, because they are using a program that won't allow for more than 140 characters and shortening your message is not worth the hassle; or your message will most likely be shortened from the end (and that could be your valuable link).

2) Use hash tags (#) and @ to name people and things - that way people who are searching for posts containing that info will see your tweet and people you tweet about will get a message.
