In my constant quest to use up cashmere scraps...

Last Sunday (Superbowl Sunday), I spent the evening with my EtsyRain friends at Happy Delusions in Renton. Those who had button making "machines" brought them so that the rest of us could take advantage of their generosity and make buttons. It was a kick. In fact, there are several of us that are aching to get our own machines now (you can get them in Georgetown at Button Makers). I made a bunch of 1" buttons (no photos yet) - and six 2 1/4" pocket mirrors (using cashmere scraps). At first we all thougth the chasmere would distort/stretch - but NO - it worked incredibly well. I wish I would've brought more scraps. Anyway, I have 6 mirrors to start off with. Available in my etsy shop.

Wow, I can see why people share button machines. That is a really cool idea to use cashmere for buttons and mirrors.
